FAQ's for Eden Enrollment Options

WE GET ASKED MANY PROGRAM QUESTIONS AND WE HAVE MANY PROGRAM ANSWERS LISTED HERE.

Due to the high volume of registrations we are not able to answer questions that are already answered here. Thank you very much and we look forward to the fall 2019 school year!

Can you explain the difference between

Eden Primary, Eden Secondary, Eden Prep, and Eden Standard??

Sure! Eden Primary is K-6th grades while Eden Secondary is 7-12th grades. Eden Primary is on the top floor (to the right and up the stairs) and Eden Secondary is on the ground floor. The Eden Prep and Eden Standard refers to enrollment status. Eden Prep is a FULL-TIME program (2 days with a full roster of courses in all subjects) and Eden Standard is our basic  a-la-carte program.

Can you break that down by the actual schedules?

No worries, I get it, a lot of choices can be confusing but you will be speaking Eden in no time! The following is a breakdown of schedules to choose from:

  • Eden Secondary - Tuesday and Thursday for both Prep and Standard
  • Eden Primary - Tuesday and Thursday for Prep and Wednesday for Standard

What if I want to put my kids in the Eden Prep Primary program AND have them

take some more courses on Wednesdays, can I do that?

You will be most welcome! The costs may be out-of-pocket as the charter funds are limited to two days with some charters, such as Inspire, so we have priced all Primary Standard courses affordably.

Why are so many people signing up for Eden Prep?

It's cheaper to just teach some courses at home and save that money.

I understand completely. We want everyone to be good stewards of their money. We get a lot of people interested in 1-2 courses but end up full-time when they hear about all of our great campus activities and things to do. Many homeschool kids feel that they miss out on the school/friend connection and that is high priority for Eden, we want them to make lifelong friends that they can go on field trips, dances, activities, enter contests and serve alongside with. That often requires them to be here two full days to develop that experience. Eden Prep comes with free study hall/activity room privileges.

When will I receive my first bill for tuition so I can fill out my PO for my charter?

We want people to be happy in their classes so we allow up to two classes with no obligation. If you drop via our website form no later than midnight of the second class, we will not charge you the tuition for the course itself. Due to that and other changes people make, we do not bill until after the second week of classes. You need to request your PO immediately upon course registration regardless and you can do that by reviewing our pricing below carefully.

In addition to the cost below, you can visit our fees page to see any additional costs as well as the Course Descriptions to look up your registered courses and order your curriculum. If there is a "Digital Curriculum" or "Provided by Eden" with a price listed there, you will request that amount on your PO.

If there is an ISBN number, you are meant to order that book for yourself. We recommend Amazon for used textbooks. If you are a EDEN PREP SECONDARY student, we will provide textbooks for those registered before September 28th in Math, Science, and History.
